About time to start this thread about a little one turning to be out quite a monster in true British style. Bought it as a Mini Special Edition. Paint a bit faded, not a lot of visible rust on first view. Engine starts first time and idle's very nicely with a sputter when you floor it. No filter on carb and I looked a bit dirty. Happy getting her home  1275 engine single carb 10" wheels Bull nose Modified rear lights    |

Ok, so all excited to get started. Fix a few things and get the mini thru the road worhty ... easy peazy. Engine bay is very dirty, carb is missing a filter, wiring looks meh.    |

Clean out interior, install new ignition switch, replaced tappet cover gasket .... after cleaning out a lot of gunk inside (not good). At least it's not leaking any more oil from the tappet cover. Radiator caps needs to be replaced ... adds to list ...    |

Getting some new rubber for the 10" wheels  R2100 for 4 wheels! bargain 145/80R10 Only found out afterwards, you can actually fit 165/80R10 on it ... welll, next time maybe.   |

So while shopping around for all the parts on my list, I hear about the set of 7.5" disk brakes that's for sale. Quickly scooped them up. Got the subframe aswell, with HiLow's fitted and some adjustable arms and the brake booster.    |

The HiLow's look custom, but solidly made, adjustable arm a lot stronger than what's on the mini. Bearings and joints look a lot better than what's on the mini.    |

Pressure washed the roof ... looks a lot better now. Not a spec of the clear coat left.  New Air filter fitted, carb stripped and clean. Runs much better now. Also Got the right side engine mounting that fits on the radiator. That othe one just don't want to stay in place!   |

This wiring will need to be sorted out, but for not just label them ...  Altenator fan bent. It's going to be replaced by a uprated unit. Need a 90-150A unit do drive the sound system anyways.  |

Engine off sub-frame. Can now reach some places on the engine to clean it.  |
